My research focuses on developing reconfigurable aerospace structures using shape memory composite materials and additive manufacturing. The goal is to design adaptive components, such as morphing wings, that enhance aircraft performance and fuel efficiency.</span></p> <p><span style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt"><b>What was your method for explaining your thesis in 3 minutes?</b><br> I used a bio-inspired analogy, comparing my research to bird flight biomechanics to explain morphing structures. I then introduced smart materials like Shape Memory Alloys and Polymers, followed by lattice structures for efficiency and adaptability. I discussed the role of 3D printing in manufacturing these designs and concluded with the broader implications for aerospace applications.</span></p> <p><span style="tab-stops:list 36.0pt"><b>How was your research topic inspired?</b><br> My research was inspired by the need for more efficient and sustainable aerospace technologies.
