My name is Aysan Mahboubi and I am in my second year of a PhD in Industrial Engineering, under the supervision of Professors Samira Keivanpour and Amina Lamghari. My thesis project is about “Development and Evaluation of Sustainable Shared Reverse Logistics Models for Electric Vehicle Battery.”
2) What was your method of explaining your thesis in 3 minutes?
Initially, I watched some videos on YouTube to get ideas on how to respect time constraints. Then I will start my presentation by emphasizing the significance of this research and demonstrating the critical issues it aims to address. Following this, I will state the research objectives and describe the methodology employed to tackle these challenges. Finally, I will mention how attaining these objectives not only resolves the identified problems but also enriches the existing body of literature.
3) What inspires you to do research?
My research focus is on environmental sustainability, driven by a commitment to promote actions that save our planet's future. The motivation behind my research is to highlight the urgent need for sustainable practices and also to raise awareness about the scarcity of Earth's resources. It is imperative that each individual should be responsible for preserving our planet, ensuring it remains vibrant for future generations.

Without a doubt, my dedication goes to my parents, whose unwavering encouragement and support have paid my path for my educational journey. Their sacrifices to ensure my well-being and success is a clear example of their love and dedication.
