My name is Morteza Jalali and I am in my second year of a PhD in Industrial Engineering, under the supervision of Professors Yuvin Chinniah and Samira Keivanpour. My thesis project is about the safe collaboration between humans and robots in the disassembly cell by using computer vision and natural language processing to keep the workarea safe
2) What was your method of explaining your thesis in 3 minutes?
Use of computer vision techniques to visualize the area to distinguish the unsafe acts based on artificial intelligence capabilities.
3) What inspires you to do research?
Zero-tolerance of injuries for humans inspired me to do my best to keep the advanced working area safe.
