My title of Thesis

Develop a 2-D compressible numerical solver using immersed boundary method

What was your method of explaining your thesis in 3 minutes?

Using presentation, which includes images and may include result animations. Explanation and justification for the usefulness of the method developed.

What inspires you to do research?

The most interesting fact about research is the newness of the problem, which has not been solved, and the possibility to find/develop/invent something new which might be lifesaving/life improving. It gives a sense of accomplishment, if one becomes successful in developing something new; otherwise, it is always worth trying.

If you have to dedicate your research to anyone from the past, present, or future, who would it be and why?

I would like to dedicate my research to my parents, professors and my friends. Altogether, they have always supported me to whatever decision I have taken and have provided valuable suggestions from time to time, whether that is with respect to the research or some valuable life lessons.

3 keywords to explain your thesis

Computational Fluid Dynamics, Immersed Boundary method, Supersonic flows
