I’m a Masters student at Polytechnique Montreal, interested in all things science and engineering. I studied Biochemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa before starting my current research project on 3D printing.

What was your method of explaining your thesis in 3 minutes?
To explain my thesis, my goal was to break down what I study into small pieces that are each easy to understand. My objective was to help listeners to grasp the central problem and to see why my work is so important.
What inspires you to do research?
I’m inspired to do research by my curiosity for how the world works, but on a day-to-day basis I’m motivated by my wonderful colleagues and professors.
If you have to dedicate your research to anyone from the past, present, or future, who would it be and why?
My research would be dedicated to all people, in it’s own very small way. I believe that all progress should contribute toward a better human condition, and I see science (my work included) as one of the best means to this end.
